About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a Greenhouse Automation Engineer with expertise in automating climate control systems such as foggers, lighting, humidity, temperature, CO₂, and auto shade nets. The ideal candidate should have experience in setting up, troubleshooting, and maintaining automated greenhouse systems.
Responsibilities:
- Foggers & Misting Systems
- Lighting Controls
- Humidity & Temperature Sensors
- CO₂ Monitoring & Control
- Automated Shade Net Systems
- Irrigation & Nutrient Dosing Systems
- Troubleshoot and repair automation-related issues.
- Optimize system settings for energy efficiency and plant health.
- Coordinate with vendors for the installation of new automation technologies.
- Regular calibration and maintenance of sensors and controllers.
- Work with the greenhouse team to ensure smooth integration of automation into daily operations.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Agricultural Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in greenhouse automation or related field.
- Hands-on experience with PLC, sensors, actuators, and climate control systems.
- Strong knowledge of IoT-based greenhouse automation is a plus.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work on-site in a greenhouse environment.
