About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a Greenhouse Structure Engineer with expertise in greenhouse design, polyfilm, shade cloth, benches, and structural improvements. The candidate should be capable of analyzing existing greenhouse issues and developing innovative design solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and improve existing greenhouse structures for better durability and efficiency.
- Design and implement new greenhouse layouts to optimize plant growth conditions.
- Work with polyfilm, shade cloth, ventilation systems, benches, and other structural elements.
- Identify weaknesses in current structures and provide engineering solutions.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and on-site teams for material selection and installation.
- Ensure structural stability and compliance with industry standards.
- Optimize ventilation, cooling, shading, and drainage systems for better plant health.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Agricultural Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in designing or modifying greenhouse structures.
- Strong knowledge of polyfilm, shading materials, benches, and ventilation systems.
- Ability to design custom solutions based on on-site challenges.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software is a plus.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on practical implementation.
